The former NBA player and ESPN panelist, JJ Redick, mocked his former NBA team, the LA Clippers, for their new floor design.

In light of recent events, the NBA’s new in-season NBA tournaments are in full swing. The in-season tournaments are a new addition to the existing format in which the league functions. It is to promote competitiveness and to make teams and players take the NBA regular-season matches with the utmost seriousness. However, former NBA player JJ Redick mocked his former NBA team, the LA Clippers, for their new floor design.
The tournaments started with new changes that have been made with new floor designs to bring up something authentic. Fans and critics all around the world of basketball have had a mixed response to the unique floor designs that have been revealed by the NBA but the seven games played on newly laid courts were nothing short of a blockbuster for the fans to watch.
Amidst the rush and excitement of the commencement of the NBA’s in-season tournaments, former Clipper star, JJ Redick, who is now a panelist on ESPN’s broadcast team, had passed a statement. He mocked the floor designs laid out by his former team.

Every basketball fan is aware of the fact that JJ Redick and the LA Clippers go way back and the player spent four seasons playing for the franchise. Former NBA player Richard Jefferson who sits alongside Redick on ESPN’s broadcast team had a back-and-forth with the former clippers star.

JJ Redick praises the Knick’s youngster Quentin Grimes
The NBA regular season had a lot of young talent giving their best performances on the court. One such performance got the attention of fans and former Clippers star JJ Redick. Redick, who sits on ESPN’s broadcast team, was covering the first night of the NBA in-season tournaments for the matchup of the Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks when Quentin Grimes gave the best efforts on the court with his game.

JJ Reddick added to his view on young players and Grimes’s performance, saying that it’s very easy to figure out after two or three days what this person’s future looks like. He added that Quentin has a very bright future in the NBA. Quentin Grimes dropped 17 points against the Milwaukee Bucks on the opening night.
