Russell Westbrook is back in the NBA headlines as the Los Angeles Lakers now have lost all their three games played so far. And, like always the blame is on Brodie as fans criticize him. But honestly, he deserves that, especially for the team’s latest loss against the Portland Trailblazers. As even LeBron James and Anthony Davis were disappointed and frustrated watching Russell Westbrook sell the game away to the Blazers.
Russell Westbrook started the season off in style but unfortunately, just after the opening night, he’s down and back with a terrible shooting form. Against the Portland Trailblazers, he contributed with only 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. And, Russell also took a late-game shot which took the game away from the Lakers and many even believe he sabotaged his team. And, are rooting for him to be removed from the closing line-up.
With around twenty-nine seconds remaining on the game clock and eighteen seconds on the shot clock. Russell Westbrook took a midrange jumper which he missed and gave the possession to the Blazers. The Damian Lillard led squad was down by 1 at that moment (101-102) and eventually won the game at 104-106 against the godly efforts of LeBron James and AD who played their heart and soul out on the court.
A viral video on the internet shows how disappointed and frustrated LeBron James and Anthony Davis were watching Russell Westbrook trying to be the main guy. Honestly, he can be the main guy but shooting the ball isn’t the right way for him especially when he just went 0-for-11 from the field and 0-for-6 from downtown.
