The Phoenix Suns, headed by Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Jae Crowder, have emerged as credible title contenders in recent seasons. The Suns came extremely close to winning the championships with their crazy gameplay and talents but were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks, who progressed to the conference finals alongside the Golden State Warriors.
Jae Crowder was added to the team roster just before the start of the 2020-21 season in a $30 million deal with the Miami Heat. The same year the Suns made their first NBA finals appearance, but their dream of lifting the trophy was crushed by the Greek-freak Giannis Antetokounmpo, who clearly proved to be a little too much for Jae Crowder and Mikal Bridges. The Suns have once again made the headlines but this time for all the wrong reasons
Jae Crowder responds to Robert Sarver’s racist comments row
Robert Sarver, the owner of the Phoenix Suns, the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, and RCD Mallorca of the La Liga Santander, was recently suspended for a season and fined $10 million by the NBA after an investigation revealed that Sarver made sexist and racist remarks, creating a toxic environment in the Suns front office. Crowder, who is still reeling from the aftermath of the Sarver issue, responded with an excellent one-word response on Twitter.
After nearly 70 witnesses confessed against Robert Sarver the NBA had no choice but to conduct a thorough investigation of the same and accused Sarver of sexual misconduct with a number of the Suns and Mercury employees but the sexual misconduct isn’t all that he did, he is reported to have tormented them, mistreated them, and shouted and cursed them without justification not once did he confess to his crime as he denied the charges when accused but this time however the NBA has caught the goon for good and has since suspended him and fined him $10 million for his actions
While there are trade rumours floating around Jae Crowder, he undoubtedly appears devoted to the Suns’ cause after such a statement. It remains to be seen how the rest of the Suns team reacts to Robert Sarver’s punishment Suns supporters will be hoping that this incident does not become too much of a distraction for the club as the season opener approaches. Jae Crowder and company will need to be laser-focused, especially after an ugly playoff loss to the Dallas Mavericks last season.
