“You’re going to become a superstar” Jayson Tatum teaches killer move to Deuce in cool father-son moment

Jayson Tatum and Deuce Tatum
Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics had a good time with his son Deuce Tatum before the Celtics play Game 6 of the NBA Finals, which is a must-win game for them. Tatum is certainly introducing his son to basketball at a young age, teaching him some moves that will undoubtedly be lethal if the boy decides to pursue basketball as a career like his father.
In a video that surfaced online, it appears that Deuce has been teaching him how to take a jab step. The 4-year-old seemed to be getting the idea of it, and he also demonstrated some scoring prowess that he most likely picked up from his father. It’s an incredible father-and-son moment between Jayson Tatum and Deuce. The Celtics star has promised to be the finest father to his child, and he is certainly succeeding.
Ahead of Game 6 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden.

Despite Stephen Curry’s failure to hit a three-point shot, the Warriors won Game 5 104-94. Curry went 0-for-9 from three-point range, snapping a 233-game stretch of making at least one three. Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 26 points on 12-of-23 shooting. The Celtics continued their pattern of turning the ball over 18 times. The Warriors have won three of the three games in which Boston has turned the ball over the most these Finals. To win the Larry O’Brien Trophy, Boston must win that Game 6 at home and then win Game 7 on the road on Sunday night.
The Warriors’ slim chances of winning the series also mean Curry’s chances of winning Finals MVP are slim. Curry was the pre-Finals MVP favorite, but despite his poor performance in Game 5, he’s now doubtful of winning the award. The Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is perhaps the only other player with a chance to win Finals MVP for Boston. Tatum is a strong contender for MVP, but his ineffective performances in each of the Celtics’ previous games have cast doubt on the team’s ability to win.

Jayson Tatum should put on a show for the Celtics fans and Deuce in Game 6.

Jayson Tatum has unquestionably established himself as one of the most gifted players of his generation, he has however, failed to do so on the biggest stage. His numbers for the NBA Finals were impressive as he leads scoring (23.2 points per game) and assists (7.0 per game). However, in the last two games, his high turnover rate has been a burden that Boston hasn’t been able to overcome. Boston will have its backs to the wall in Game 6, which is a must-win situation.
Although Tatum produced solid scoring in Game 5, his productivity in the fourth quarter was dreadful and unbecoming of a superstar. Facing a possibly unpleasant defeat in the Finals, Tatum will have to live up to his image as a superstar. Maybe spending more time with his son will motivate and push Tatum to do better and play his best against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. Deuce will undoubtedly be watching the game, and given Tatum’s love for his son, he will want to do everything he can to make him proud.
