Jordan Poole was often seen as following in Stephen Curry‘s footsteps during his time with the Golden State Warriors. Many could see that Poole was closely imitating Curry’s game, including the shot selection, the off-ball movement, and even the celebrations. Even though Poole isn’t in Dub Nation anymore, it appears these habits haven’t left him.

In a recent match, where the Washington Wizards faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies, Poole can be seen copying one of Curry’s most iconic moves; the no-look 3. This is when Curry puts up a 3-pointer and turns around to look at the crowd before it goes in. Poole attempted this same move against the Grizzlies and everything went as per plan, except for the fact that the shot didn’t go in.

Poole caught the ball at the corner spot and jacked up the three. He turned around to face the crowd. Unfortunately for Poole, it didn’t go in.

The Wizards however went on to win the match against the Grizzlies by 7 points. The final score read 113-106. Poole was the highest scorer on the Wizards, putting up 27 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

NBA fans react to Jordan Poole missing the 3-pointer

NBA fans slammed Poole for trying to pull off the celebration before the ball even went in. They called him cocky and arrogant and said his style of play was immature.

Many fans have criticized Poole for attempting to imitate Curry without being able to hit the shot. Hopefully, as time progresses, Poole is able to mature along with his game.
