With the possibilities boiling down to two, the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers, it’s now about big money. Irving finds the idea of joining his ex-teammate and close friend LeBron James in Los Angeles incredibly appealing. However, he is also optimistic about the developing synergy he has with Luka Doncic in Dallas. This raises the lingering question: Which destination will Irving ultimately decide on?

Well, Kyrie Irving came out to answer this question personally, further confusing the fans. Irving went on an Instagram live where he addressed the rumors of his new destination. While he might not have given a name, he definitely defined the thought process behind his decision-making. Irving said, “I gotta make decisions for my family, that have future consequences.”

He then added, “I appreciate y’all rocking with me for time being. But, if it doesn’t come from me and it comes from people on TV, these people do NOT know me.” This came in as a response to all the rumors going around Irving’s presence courtside at Lakers’ games etc.
