The Eastern Conference Finals series between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat has already made it to the history books. Now if the Boston Celtics are able to wrap the season up for the Miami Heat and knock them out, they’ll make history. As the odds are 0-150 and no team ever has been able to pull a comeback after being down 0-3. So it’s fair to say that Game 7 of ECF is going to be a thriller and the best game of the season so far.

Also, the league is doing its best job by adding more flavors to the already hot and spicy series. As the officials for tonight’s Game 7 are Scott Foster, Tony Brothers and John Goble. The fans are back with their claims of the league being rigged and this time they are running some conspiracy theories around the decision of letting Scott Foster, Tony Brothers and John Goble officiate the game.

Scott Foster was voted the worst referee by the NBA players some months ago. The reason for that tag is understandable. As this is his 29th year officiating in the league. He has had his fair share of controversial calls throughout his career and even nicked as “The Extender” by the fans. The story is the same for Tony Brothers too and even he’s not liked much by the players.

The internet has done its job of digging up records and coming up with predictions. But unexpectedly, this time the web is confused as many believe they’ll soon be watching two battles on the NBA Hardwood. The first one is obviously, Heat-Celtics Game 7. But surprisingly the second battle is of Scott Foster vs Tony Brothers and John Goble.

Scott Foster has been lucky for the Boston Celtics. As he officiated Game 4 against the Heat and since then the Cs are on a 3-game winning streak. He also officiated their last Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Miami Heat though have lost the last 13 of the 14 games when he was a part of the officiating crew. On the other hand, the Celtics haven’t faired well when it’s Tony Brothers on the officiating crew. So now we know it’s going to be a battle for ages. Also, the fans have revealed John Goble to have a Miami-based background.

Both the fan bases are scared because of Scott Foster or Tony Brothers and John Goble. But the internet collectively believes the league wants the Boston Celtics to represent the Eastern Conference in the 2023 NBA Finals against the Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets.

Fans have come up with some solid trolls and reactions for the officiating crew for Game 7. You can find some of the many reactions posted by fans on Twitter here below:

And, in just some hours we will know who advances to the Finals and many also hope that the game isn’t ruined by some controversial calls by the officials.
