“He threw it all away being arrogant and cocky” Shaquille O’Neal says ‘narcissist’ Kanye West blames others for his downfall

“He threw it all away being arrogant and cocky” Shaquille O’Neal says ‘narcissist’ Kanye West blames others for his downfall

Shaquille O'Neal, Kanye West

Following their latest public dispute, Shaquille O’Neal continues to condemn the renowned rapper Kanye West. When West, 45, attempted to quarrel with him on social media earlier this month, the former NBA star turned commentator, 50, said he took a better approach. He also believes that narcissistic people like West blame other people for their mistakes.

When the NBA veteran referred to Kyrie Irving as an ‘idiot’, it triggered a feud between Shaquille O’Neal and Kanye West. O’Neal criticized Irving for using social media to promote an anti-Semitic movie and West, who has himself made a number of antisemitic remarks in recent months, backed the Brooklyn Nets star.

Kanye was seen criticizing O’Neal for collaborating with a wealthy businessman. The Big Diesel instructed West to attend to his own affairs before bringing up others as the Grammy winner was criticized by the four-time NBA champion on numerous occasions. O’Neal revealed his encounter with West in an exclusive interview with People Magazine.

In the interview, O’Neal stated: “I don’t do the little kid games. The fact that [West] messed his whole life up — he did it. Nobody else did it. These narcissistic people, when they mess up it’s everybody else’s fault.”

He also added: “A lot of people just can’t take accountability. He threw it all away being arrogant and cocky, so now he wants to throw everybody else’s business dealings under the bus?”

Kanye West and his recent shenanigans

Kanye West has recently obtained attention for his anti-Jewish remarks, which have led to the breakdown of several connections. He represents athletes like Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown, among others, and is connected to a number of high-end fashion brands.

Due to the intense controversy, all of these people had to break off their relationships with him. By wearing a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt to a performance, voicing more divisive opinions, and making controversial comments about George Floyd, West has risked his relationships.

Due to the harsh words, a number of brands, including Adidas, Balenciaga, Gap, Skechers, and many more, have ended their relationships with the rapper, who has been deeply embroiled in numerous difficulties for a long time. After a string of anti-Semitic comments that cost West $2 billion in one day, his business partners hurried to terminate him.

Significant global companies dropped him, along with his talent agent CAA, including Def Jam and J.P. Morgan.

Even if he lost $2 billion of his wealth to $200 million, he still won’t take responsibility for his hateful remarks spoken at a time when it seems like the country is in disarray.

Shaquille O’Neal recently called the $500 Million worth rapper a ‘narcissist’

During a recent segment of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” Shaq related to West’s situation and referred to himself as a “narcissist” as they decided to talk about the subject.

He stated: “When I look at Kanye, I say you know what, I know what he is going through. You know why I know what he’s going through? Coz I used to be a narcissist.”

O’Neal then continued by stating: “First example, when you are a narcissist, mama takes the kids away from you. Second example, when you are a narcissist, things start to just go away.”

Shaquille O’Neal said in his People’s interview that while his brief disagreement with West didn’t affect him, he wouldn’t let their conversation wander off track.

The $500 Million rapper will always uphold his moral standards, but in the process, he’ll hurt people’s opinions. When insulted, Shaq won’t keep quiet, and if the situation continues, he’ll rant endlessly about Kanye.
