“AD has turned back into PER Prince,” Skip Bayless calls Anthony Davis ‘Always Disappointing’ despite stellar form
Skip Bayless and Anthony Davis
Veteran sports media personality, Skip Bayless is not pleased or even satisfied with Los Angeles Lakers marquee Anthony Davis being in the form of his life. Davis managed to score 90+ points in the last two games he played. Moreover, his form has put the ‘Purple and Gold’ franchise in a better position in the current season, after a highly demoralizing start.
Skip Bayless was talking on the show ‘Undisputed,’ where he quoted, “AD has turned back into a PER Prince because he is now 2nd to Luka in Player Efficiency Rating and he is a notch ahead of Jokic and Giannis and Embiid. That’s pretty great. But you call him always dominant? I’m going to have to change that nickname to always disappointing because that’s what he is.”
Skip added, “He is low motor and he is lower durability. Am I right? He’s been on a weird tear that I cannot quite explain except that I know he’s capable because he’s done it before.”
Anthony Davis is averaging 34 PPG and 15 RPG off 63% FG in his last ten games, which is a staggering record for the LA Lakers stars. It looks like he finally found time to answer his critics with his back-to-back antics on the court.

Anthony Davis is not surprised by his top-tier performances
The Lakers center Anthony Davis is playing exemplary basketball, giving out power-packed performances. However, AD hasn’t surprised himself, even if the whole NBA world is stunned. In the Lakers’ last win over the Washington Wizards, the 8-time All-Star talked about his form, and stated that he is doing what he is supposed to do, and that is what he is known to be capable of doing.
He also is careful that he is excited about how he is playing. Anthony Davis also added that he has high expectations from himself and that he is the most prominent critic when he doesn’t know to execute his plans on the court. If ‘the Brow‘ continues to play at this current level, there is no doubt that the franchise will rise in the standings.
With a star-studded line-up, the Lakers were expected to do this. After a rough start, they have got back to their feet by adding some much-needed wins. But they faced a recent drubbing at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers and will take on the Toronto Raptors next.
