Not all good and star players from the league get the chance to appear in the All-Star games. Despite the fact that it is heartbreaking, some always lose their spot in the star-studded game. But there is a list of athletes that are not only popular with the fans but also have had a stellar season. Names like James Harden, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Davis, Aaron Gordon, Darius Garland, Kristaps Porzingis, Pascal Siakam, Trae Young, Devin Booker, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Edwards, and De’Aaron Fox are on the list.

According to the estimated plus-minus, Jimmy Butler ranks 10th among NBA players. Until Thursday, Anthony Davis was the only non-All-Star in the starting lineup. But the math involved in Butler’s case is only part of the story. He’s scoring 22.0 points per game, which is his highest number since 2017-18, while also dishing out 4.9 dimes and leading the NBA with 2.1 steals per game. Davis if not injured was playing with historic numbers and was playing like the best player in the league. His numbers during the stretch of his best form were all-time high in rebounds and scores combined. He has been averaging 26.9 points and 12 rebounds a game. He is also shooting over 57% from the field.

Pascal Siakam has been averaging 24.9 points in a game with 47% shooting from the field. Harden has been averaging over 21 points from the field, but in his new role, he is averaging over 11 assists a game. Players like Brunson, De’Aaron Fox, and Anthony Edwards have been spectacular this season, but their numbers on the stats and their efficiency on the floor do not match up with the All-Star caliber players. This year the All-Star Game roster has been a real shocker for everyone from the starters to the reserves, many fans are just disappointed for not having their guy in.
