LeBron James’s addition to the NBA Universe back in 2003 can be called one of the prominent moments for the NBA because nobody knew that an 18-year-old boy from Ohio would go on to become one of the greatest players that the League has ever seen.
LeBron James is an eminent name in the constellation of the NBA. But was everything as happy and exciting on his debut as one thinks it to be?
LeBron James reaction to his 18th NBA Debut Anniversary
LeBron James opened up about his reaction on his 18th Season in the NBA and how arduous was it for him both mentally and physically.
James told Spectrum Sportsnet, “I wish that moment on no other athlete ever because it was very nerve-racking.”
LeBron James further went on to add,
“No, I did not get an opportunity to reflect on the anniversary of my first NBA game. But now I do, and it’s just a treat to be able to play the game, you know, for this long and to play it at the level I’m able to play it at. It’s just an honor and a treat and I don’t take it for granted.“
James scored 25 points in his debut match with the Cavaliers and wishes to continue age like a fine wine only with records and Championships.
“I mean, I had 25 (points) in that first game? 25 or so. I had 26 in my first game?! Yeah, so I just tried to up myself. I’m getting better. I’m getting better with age, just like wine, so.”
James manager after the game said that the game he played is just a trailer to what’s coming next. It is his way of saying “Guys! I have arrived!”
Aaron Goodwin, James’ manager told the reporters, “I think that was LeBron’s statement to the league that he’s here. He’s for real.”
Some NBA fans have expressed their opinions on James’s 18th Anniversary s well.
The happiness got doubled when the Lakers also went on to win their 3rd game of this season against the Cleveland Cavaliers. All the consternation surrounding the Lakers is slowly disappearing.
The LA Lakers are to face the Houston Rockets on 1st November.
