The Los Angeles Lakers snapped their five-game losing streak in a road game against the Houston Rockets. The Lakers beat the 3rd worst team in the NBA, the Houston Rockets 132-123. With this, the Lakers remain on 7th ranked in the Western Conference with a 17-18 record for the season.
It was a comprehensive performance by the Lakers, with everybody chipping in with valuable contributions. Five of the eight Lakers scored in double digits while the star player duo of LeBron James and Russell Westbrook scored Triple-doubles.

For the Houston Rockets, rookie Jalen Green put up 24 points, while Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood put up 22 points each to give the Rockets a fighting chance against the Lakers. It was not enough as the Rockets fell short by nine points and took the loss at home. They are now 10-25 for the season and 15th in the Western Conference.

LeBron James’ ‘No-look passes’ go in vain as the Lakers miss shots
Just 6 minutes into the 1st quarter of the game, Malik Monk stole the ball and passed it to LeBron James who drove to the rim and made a no-look pass to wide-open Avery Bradley in the corner. Bradley missed the shot but James rebounded it. He made another no-look-pass to Malik Monk in the paint who missed the layup. Bradley got the Lakers got another offensive rebound and passed it to LeBron. He passed it to Stanley Johnson outside the perimeter who missed the 3-point shot and finally Lakers lost the possession.
Twitter went into a frenzy with some awe-struck by LeBron James’ smooth passes while some expressed their disappointment with the missed shots.
