With Nuggets vs Jazz locking horns, two of the brightest, toughest and strongest tall men, Nikola Jokic and Rudy Gobert were facet-to-face. In what was expected to be a banter of a context, the reigning MVP had to exit the particular game after colliding with the Frenchman in the first half itself. With Jamal Murray already out, the injury to Jokic could prove to be catastrophic for Denver Nuggets. 

While Utah Jazz was on the attack, Rudy Gobert had the ball and who else than Nikola Jokic to defend him from scoring inside the paint. Yet as the former made his move, it seems like the spoken about duo collided their knees against each other. Now, as the Serbian was defending, it seems like he had to face the heat of the colliding knees as he went straight down on the floor, leaving the Nuggets fans in distress.

Given that Murray has already not played a single-game and will take time to make his debut in the 2021-22 season, the absence of Nikola Jokic could hamper the record of the teams significantly. Be it on the defensive end or on the offensive end, Nikola Jokic’s role and contribution is beyond description for the team.

While Jokic went straight to the floor after the incident, Gobert too had problems in moving. However, Jokic left the game and went straight to the locker room. In just 15 minutes, the reigning MVP managed to score 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists registered against his name.

On the other hand, the Utah Jazz were eld by Donovan Mitchell and the reigning sixth man of the year, Jordan Clarkson with 12 points each. Having said that it remains to be seen what drama unfolds in Nuggets vs Jazz after Nikola Jokic exits the game with a worrisome injury. The important question here however remains to be, for how long will the Serb be out of action?
