Jason McIntyre Expressed Astonishment As The Sporting World Stayed Witness To Three Swashbuckling Incidents Ft Cam Newton
This week sprang out as one of the most happening weeks of the sporting roster as four major developments unspooled in the flash of the eye which can be termed as five if you consider Robert Hunt’s godly touchdown against the Ravens. On the renowned NFL show, Undisputed, Jason McIntyre expressed his shock at the unravelling that has rocked the sporting world, starting with his debate on Cam Newton’s efficacy.
Before heading into the events of the week, he first explained on the episode about Cam Newton’s signature for Carolina Panthers. He explicated that the signing of Newton will be questionable considering certain factors for the Panthers. Jason said that Cam’s signing won’t really be filling in the heightened optimism as the Panthers have lost their opening set of games and are currently at a record of 5-4.
This is what Jason McIntrye had to say about Cam Newton
He then pointed out that the Panthers will be without Brian Burns who was knocked over by mac Jones. He then underlined Cam’s age and said that in the forthcoming May he will be 33. Adding to that he was unclaimed for 9 weeks. There was a contrast drawn between Brady and Newton’s physicality. Brady was said to have not taken as many hits as Newton did and yet no teams chose to touch Newton.
He also applauded the fact that Cam was willing to get the jab and do anything to get back to the league. Jason drew another infamous contrast as he said that the return of Cam is like resurrecting Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford. The news of resurrection brings back a lot of emotions but when you see it in the hall (read watching Cam Newton take the field), it is awful.
He also highlighted that Christian McCaffrey is out and the Panthers will have to rely a lot on the likes of DJ Moore who has shown some serious balling skills this season. However, his skepticism with Cam Newton remained and he still couldn’t shirk off his cynicism about him.
This, however, was not the end of the conversation. Jason McIntyre continued with his rave of words expressing his astonishment at the quick unfolding of events that has been in the making. Firstly, the transfer of Odell Beckham Jr stunned him as he couldn’t believe that one of the best catchers in the history of the sport could put his career through a resurgence.
The final pointer of this heated discussion was the Golden State Warriors as they have been comfortably nestled at the top of the points table as they outplayed the Chicago Bulls by 119-93 to go up by 11-1 that was led by Stephen Curry’s brilliance for the umpteenth time as he blasted another 40-pointer on the last night.
