“Tired of watching films”: Joe Burrow says he is all set to go big at the Super Bowl

Joe Burrow has been superb this season. Whenever the Cincinnati Bengals found themselves in a tough spot, mighty Joe was there to bail them out. Even under extreme pressure against star-studded teams, the Bengals were able to win games after games and a lot of credit for it has to go to star QB Joe Burrow.

The self-belief instilled in the side by Burrow has acted as a major catalyst in the Bengals’ success. Nobody gave the Bengals a chance to make their way to the Super Bowl. They won a few games, lost a few early on in the tournament, but were able to win when it mattered the most.

Burrow is gearing up for the big night and before the day of reckoning finally arrives, he had a chat with media persons. Talking about his schedule for the week, Joe claimed that he is ready to hit the ground. “I am tired of watching films, I am ready to go play. I am trying to stick to my normal routine as much as I can,” he said.

When asked about him being compared to other top QBs, Joe said, “I am trying to be the best player that I can be, I am trying to be the best Joe Burrow that I can be. Everyone likes to make comparisons but I am just trying to be the best player I can be. I am not trying to compare myself with anybody else.”

Joe also stated that he is elated to see the league gaining prominence across the globe. “The best thing which is happening right now is that the league is becoming a global brand than what it has been in the past. When I hear about the fans from Mexico, fans from Ireland, it makes me really excited about the future of the game,” he said.

When he was asked if Super Bowl becoming a global event has changed anything for him, Jowe replied by saying, “Doesn’t change anything for me, I think it just makes the game even more exciting, just as I said it is exciting to hear about fans from all across the globe, I don’t think that was the case ten years ago.

Burrow went on to add that the team which ends up handling the distractions in a better way throughout the week will eventually emerge victoriously. The Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Los Angeles Rams in the biggest encounter of the year on Sunday.
