Andrew Whitworth is a superstar in the world of the NFL. The vastly experienced footballer started his career in 2006 when he was roped in by the Cincinnati Bengals. After staying with the franchise for as many as 10 years, Andrew went to the Rams in 2017 and since then, he has been a pillar of the franchise.

The 40-year-old tackle has won a number of awards in his illustrious career and is still going strong. Not long ago, the big man was also conferred with the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. To top it all, his team won the Super Bowl and as expected, Andrew was over the moon.

Although the Rams were the clear favorites to win the title, the Bengals also did an incredible job. OBJ started the proceedings for his side and the Rams were in the lead by halftime. However, the Bengals took control of the proceedings in the third half and it felt like Burrow’s men will win the title.

However, the Rams did what they do best. They scripted a terrific comeback in the last quarter and ended up winning the clash by 23-20. Andrew’s presence in the team has had a major impact on everyone. His experience and awareness about the game acted as a huge catalyst in the Rams’ overall sublime run.

After the game, Whitworth posed with the trophy and the Rams shared the iconic picture on their Twitter handle. “Walter Payton Man of the Year. World Champion. Andrew Whitworth,” they captioned the picture.

However, Rams’ general manager Les Snead’s wife had a hilarious take on the picture. She retweeted Whitworth’s picture with the caption, “He looks like Thanos in this pic.”
