AJ Brown woke up and chose to play a prank on Deebo Samuel before the two lock horns with each other on Monday, December 4, as the Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) take on the San Francisco 49ers (8-3). The game will be a replay of last season’s NFC Championship game in February.

The Eagles blew the 49ers away in the matchup with a 31-7 scoreline. So there are a few scores to settle between the players. Considering both teams have had a bright start to the season, the outcome may be completely different from the last time.

Returning to Samuel, the Pro Bowl wide receiver is currently trending in the news because of his old comments regarding Eagles cornerback James Bradberry. During the post-practice Q&A session, he refused to backtrack, and that set of alarm bells

Following the interview, Brown alerted the entire Eagles Nation to go ahead and troll the 49ers playmaker as much as possible. He wrote a tweet captioning it,

Eagle fans… it’s troll @19problemz (Deebo Samuel) week. You have my permission.

Samuel got the memo, and a few hours later, shared a tweet of his own.

@1kalwaysopen (AJ Brown) leave me alone, mannnneee.

Who has the advantage? Deebo Samuel-San Francisco 49ers or AJ Brown-Philadelphia Eagles

The two sides are equal when it comes to firepower upfront. Both have scored the same offensive points this season (310). They are only behind the likes of the Dallas Cowboys (347), the Miami Dolphins (339), the Buffalo Bills (328), and the Baltimore Ravens (310).

However, retired NFL safety Donte Whitner is keeping his former team, the 49ers, ahead of the Eagles. He joined Papa and Lund on KNBR to break down why he thinks Deebo Samuel will exact his revenge on AJ Brown.

Surprisingly, Whitner has the same opinion of Bradberry as Samuel. According to him, the fullback is the “weakest link” in the backfield, and he predicts 49ers QB Brock Purdy will target him the most.

Philadelphia’s defense really isn’t playing championship football right now. I think that’s why the 49ers are three-point favorites. If you can run the ball and you can protect Brock Purdy, this game doesn’t really have to be close.

He also mentioned that the Eagles have significantly weakened since the departure of CJ Gardner Johnson, who joined the Detroit Lions. On top of that, they are missing a few more key players due to injuries. Both offensive tackle Lane Johnson and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox are out with groin problems.
