“Absolute best vs the absolute worst”: Aaron Rodgers doesn’t even consider “Kermit the Frog” Mahomes & Josh Allen worthy opponents for ‘The Match’

“The Match” is about to go underway in a few days and this time around, it is going to be bigger than ever as Brady and Packers star Aaron Rodgers will come together to play against Bills star Josh Allen and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes in a made-for-TV, 12-hole charity golf showdown in Las Vegas.

Earlier, “The Match” featured star golfers like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson who each partnered with a sports star. This time around, we have four superstar quarterbacks facing each other in groups of two. The participants are all miked up throughout the contest which makes it even more entertaining.

As far as trash talk is concerned, it has already begun. Recently, Tom had a few things to say about his competitor Josh Allen. “Golf shit-talk is a little different than pro football shit-talk. Josh really hasn’t backed much up on the football field in his career, let’s be honest, especially playing against me,” Brady claimed as reported by Greg Auman.

Josh then called Brady’s hole-in-one shot bullsh*t and now, Aaron Rodgers has jumped in too. “I know they tried to make it old guys versus young guys, but I said it when we were doing our chipping contest that they showed yesterday,” Rodgers said, as reported by ESPN.com.

I said, ‘Who thought about this, you want to put the two best guys against the two worst guys?’ And that’s not just conjecture, that’s, like, facts,” Aaron stated. “When we started in the NFL, definitely when Brady started, and when I started playing, there was actual, real trash talk. Like, guys trash-talked each other and there was a lot of good sh*t talk, and we knew who they were around the league,” Rodgers claimed.

Aaron went on to add that the modern-day trash talk with social media taking the center stage is just not as good as it used to be. “And now, it’s more buddy-buddy, you know, social media following each other, memes, this emoji sh*t, and it’s not the same. So, when you talk about Kermit the Frog Mahomes, per memes and Josh Allen trying to sh*t talk me and Tom, a couple of old-school, grizzled vets. Come on,” he said.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see who emerges on top in the highly-anticipated contest.
