“I don’t like conversation about losing,” Aaron Rodgers STRONGLY condemns Jaire Alexander’s negativity after shocking defeat against the Giants

“I don’t like conversation about losing,” Aaron Rodgers STRONGLY condemns Jaire Alexander’s negativity after shocking defeat against the Giants

The Green Bay Packers have not had the best of starts to their NFL season. The Aaron Rodgers led franchise are currently on a 3-2 record, with the latest defeat coming against the New York Giants.

The 22-27 defeat was an extremely hard pill to swallow both for the Packers fans and the players, especially because they had a 20-10 lead at the half time. They gave it away courtesy of some poor plays in the second half, and it seems to have brought down the morale of the players within the camp.

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t particularly happy with Jaire Alexander’s comments about losing against the Jets

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers faltered to a 3-2 record as they lose to the New York Giants.

Packers cornerback, Jaire Alexander openly said that the panic bells would start to ring if they failed to win their Week-6 fixture against the New York Jets. “I ain’t worried, but if we lose next week, then I’ll be worried,” Alexander said. “But it’s a new situation for everybody. New circumstances, sleep patterns. It’s a whole adjustment here in London.”

This particular comment did not go down well with Aaron Rodgers, who brutally shot his teammate down, claiming that such negative claims would not benefit the franchise in the long run.

The 38-year-old veteran who is in his 18th season with the Packers specifically said that he wasn’t a big fan of such talks within the locker room, and urged his teammates not to involve in such things even though things have not gone to plan so far.

“Frankly, I don’t like all this conversation about losing next week,” Rodgers told reporters according to ESPN. “I’m a firm believer in the power of words and manifestation. And we’ve got to check ourselves on that, because talking about that is not winning football. There was conversation about it in the locker room, and I don’t like it. Ja’s my guy, but we don’t need to be talking like that.”

After all this chatter, it now remains to be seen whether Aaron Rodgers comes up with a reply to Jaire Alexander’s comments on the field against the Jets and gets the Packers season up and running.
