The New England Patriots HC Bill Belichick has been known for his zen face and responses in the worst of situations. The greatest NFL coach of all time seldom lets his emotions get the better of him and is suspected of being a robot because he never really shows any sort of emotions. However, in 2018, call it a miracle or a coincidence because the HC snapped.
The New England Patriots faced off against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. The team lost the game 33-26 and as Belichick attempted to bring his team back up from the deficit; he had very little patience for any sort of bull jive.
However, he failed to do so. Once the game concluded, it is practice for members of both teams to shake hands with their opponents as a mark of sportsmanship. While Adam Thielen can be seen attempting to shake Belichick’s hands and give him a pat on the back, but to no luck. Bill Belichick does the most Bill thing ever by giving him a cold shoulder and a glance before just walking right past him.
Adam Thielen is still happy as the wideout for the Minnesota Vikings who secured the game-winning touchdown for his team in the final quarter of the game got his revenge against the Patriots and Bill Belichick in particular. Back in 2018, Thielen and Belichick had an intense faceoff. After that point, things have never really been the same between them.

An earlier video of the duo’s first altercation surfaced in which Adam Thielen can be seen going at it with Bill Belichick. The two have a heated exchange and Belichick is assumed to be cussing him out by saying, “Shut the fu*k up.” After this incident, there has been no respect between them.
Thielen was furious over this standoff and had stated that he lost his cool and, in a recent interview, admitted that Bill’s reaction bothered him. “It was definitely over the top. It honestly got to me because two plays later I dropped a ball. I was getting past that threshold,” Thielen said.
Just a week ago, Bill Belichick was questioned over this past incident and when asked if he thinks Thielen was still furious over the incident, the HC responded with a “Yeah.” However, Bill also did admit that the wideout was good at making tough catches. Bill Belichick clearly could have just shaken Thielen’s hands in this instance. A coach of his caliber has clearly been in far worse situations and handled them better. However, it does not matter as the Vikings got the last laugh.
