The next chapter for Bill Belichick, after being one of the most successful coaches in NFL history is writing a book. The former head coach of the New England Patriots remained unsuccessful in securing a coaching role in the NFL after his departure from Boston but to ensure that he does something productive in his time off, he will be penning this book.
As reported by The Athletic, Bill Belichick‘s book could be a memoir sharing his own experiences as a head coach or one that addresses the different aspects of his personality. The exact nature of the book remains a mystery. This comes after his recent appearance on the Patriots documentary that aired on Apple TV.
The book is likely to be produced by the Avid Reader Press, which did not give away any clues concerning the nature of this book. “We’re going to respectfully decline to comment,” David Kass, the Director of Publicity stated when asked about the book of the head coach.
The head coach has been speculated to make a foray into the world of broadcasting as he awaits an opportunity before returning to the sidelines. He is in talks with ESPN, Omaha Productions, and NFL Films to come to an arrangement that would be feasible for all parties involved. He could be a regular appearance on the Pat McAfee Show as well but it seems less likely.
Bill Belichick’s new book could address his unique leadership style
Over the years, many fans believe that Belichick was a successful head coach just because he had Tom Brady. To support this, Belichick hasn’t won any Super Bowl since Brady’s departure. His poor run eventually led to him losing his head coaching job in Boston. The news of Belichick writing a book this year sparked mixed reactions on social media.
Here’s how fans reacted to the news of Belichick possibly writing a book:

The recent documentary titled The Dynasty was deemed to be a hit piece amongst Patriots fans. But some were critical of it citing the reason that the documentary did not give Belichick enough credit for his coaching strategies. It will be exciting to see what Belichick will write in the book.
