After an exhilarating performance in the last three victories, Jordan Love seems to be the only topic of discussion, when it comes to the Green Bay Packers. In the absence of legendary Aaron Rodgers, the Packers seemed to have a ray of hope in the form of QB Love.

Given a solid outing against both, the Chargers and Lions, there seemed a tough task for Love and the Packers, against Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs. Despite the intimidation of facing the top quarterback in the league, the first-year starter didn’t pull back and gave another remarkable outing of three touchdowns, leading to a 27-19 victory against them.

Interestingly, Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd, who previously questioned Love’s ability to lead the Packers, in the absence of Rodgers, has now become confident in the quarterback’s ability to lead his team to the postseason. Cowherd said:

They’ve got confidence now with Jordan Love within the building. That’s why tonight was really crucial. And you saw it a little bit against the Chargers, a lot against the Lions and really a lot tonight.

He highlighted when the quarterback began, he wasn’t in his best form. And seeing the Packers going with him, it seemed like they were “babysitting” and “coddling” him. He added:

It was just slow growth, let’s wait until we’re comfortable, let’s let this thing develop. The Packers knew better.

If Love continues to play at this level, there are fair chances for the Packets to make it to the playoffs, though it’s for sure the Packers have found their future franchise starting QB.

How did Jordan Love engrave himself among the top-ranking QBs?

Recalling the Packers’ early-season games, it seemed more like quick-hitting throws or safe check-downs and simple throws, until their starter Love got comfortable. And over time, he sure has come in the good books of head coach Matt LaFleur and the rest of the coaching staff. They are utilizing his best strengths in the game, just like how they did in the Chiefs game.

Acknowledging that, Cowherd said:

If you watched them tonight, I mean Kansas City’s defense is good. And Green Bay hit on a lot of big third downs, on a lot of big plays. Not a lot of people have done that on this Chiefs' defense. I was sitting there thinking, yeah, Green Bay is the better team tonight. It wasn’t a fluke.

In the last three games of the Packers, QB Love has become the second-best in touchdown-to-interception ratio with 8:0, ranked second in passing yards per game with 285.7, and second in the passing rating of 116.9.
