Dak Prescott is one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in the league this season. The Mississippi State product is carrying the hopes and dreams of the Dallas Cowboys fans, but to achieve those dreams, he has to stop throwing interceptions that can cost his team a win.

The Cowboys beat the Tennessee Titans 27-13 on Thursday Night Football, despite Dak throwing two interceptions. As a matter of fact, Dak has thrown at least one interception in his last six games. The 29-year-old quarterback is playing badly, especially since his return after missing five games due to injuries earlier this season. Since his return in week 7, he has thrown 13 interceptions in 10 games.

His rash of interceptions has raised a lot of concerns among Dallas Cowboys fans. But the 2-time Pro Bowl quarterback is not concerned about his long stretch of games with interceptions. Speaking at the press conference after the Cowboys-Titans game, Prescott said he doesn’t dwell on his interceptions but he admitted that he has to fix some problems in his game.

“I don’t worry about it,” said Prescott about his rash of interceptions. “I’ve got to fix the ones on my end and I’ve just gotta make sure that the receivers and everybody that takes part in them are just focused.”

Dak also said that it doesn’t matter whether the interceptions are his fault or the receiver’s fault. He just gotta forget it and move on to the next play. “To be able to play this position, you’ve gotta have a short-term memory,” Prescott told the reporters on Thursday.

“Whether the interception you feel is your fault, not your fault, whether you throw it to the guy and lose out on points before half or not, you’ve gotta be able to turn the page and just move on. That’s something that, honestly, I take pride in. Obviously, you’re not trying to have that adversity or cause that adversity, but good or bad, I’m on to the next play,” added Dak Prescott.

Dak Prescott is currently tied with Derek Carr for the league lead in interceptions despite playing five fewer games than him. This is a serious concern for the Dallas Cowboys, who are hoping to win the Super Bowl this season with their talented roster.

Prescott has thrown 14 interceptions in the season, although some of them are not the QB’s fault. His receivers have failed him on some occasions, but it is still a communication problem that should be corrected in the future.

The Cowboys are winning despite their QB throwing plenty of interceptions because of their defense, which also creates a lot of turnovers. If Dak can work on his problems and stop throwing this many interceptions, the Cowboys would be unstoppable in the NFC.
