Former Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins STRONGLY speculated to reunite with Deshaun Watson by signing with the Browns

DeAndre Hopkins has been the most talked about player since his release from the Arizona Cardinals. The talented WR was a great asset for the Arizona-based team, however, they had to part ways due to unknown reasons.
Hopkins was a great WR with the Cardinals and established himself as one of the best in the NFL. The 30-year-old WR still has the skill to change games with his speed and versatility.
Therefore, many teams are rumored to be interested in acquiring him with the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs being the front runners for it. However, there has been a new team that Hopkins is strongly speculated to play for.
Hopkins was drafted by the Houston Texans and developed a great partnership with QB Deshaun Watson, who became one of the premier QBs in the league during that time. It is reported that DeAndre Hopkins is favored to reunite with Deshaun Watson while playing for the Cleveland Browns.
The former Cardinals WR had a decent run with Watson before his various controversies. ESPN has also reported that Hopkins would like to reunite with his former teammate in Cleveland. However, the Browns could get into slight trouble as Hopkins currently desires a favourable contract and possibly won’t settle for a pay-cut.

The QB-WR duo is an iconic duo in the NFL. Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins were such a duo who had a great time playing with each other. Their partnership with the Texans was impressive and both secured moves to different teams.
Watson moved to the Browns in one of the most expensive trades of all time. While Hopkins secured a big-money trade with the Cardinals. During his time playing with Watson, Hopkins caught 315 passes for 4,115 yards and scored an impressive 31 touchdowns in a span of two seasons.
Both players have great chemistry together and complement each other’s styles. The Browns could also become strong competitors in their division if they happen to land DeAndre Hopkins. However, all the speculations made are just rumors and nothing has been confirmed yet, either by Hopkins or the Browns.
As the free agency continues to unfold, it will be interesting to see which team finally gets to sign the talented DeAndre Hopkins and how will he fare at his new team.
