On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers, led by their second-year quarterback Brock Purdy, managed to secure a huge victory against the defending NFC Champions Philadelphia Eagles. The Niners wide receiver Deebo Samuel put up a great game after being involved in trash talks with the Eagles for many months. Furthermore, he made sure to rub it in the faces of Philadelphia’s home crowd at the Lincoln Memorial Field.

During the final quarter of the game, the 49ers were leading by 15 points and were trying to extend their lead. Brock Purdy, who took the snap from the shotgun position, connected with wide receiver Jauan Jennings for an 18-yard touchdown pass. With that touchdown, the Niners took a commanding 34-13 lead in the fourth quarter.

After Jennings caught the decisive touchdown in the final quarter, the Niners’ star wideout Deebo Samuel mocked Philly fans by waving goodbye to the crowd. Check out the footage of his celebration attached below.

Samuel had been beefing with the Eagles players ever since the Philadelphia-based football team defeated the 49ers in the NFC Championship game earlier this year. Following the game, Samuel claimed that they would’ve won by a double-digit margin if they had a healthy quarterback. And that’s exactly what they did on Sunday.

Samuel had a great outing on Sunday and helped his team humiliate their rivals in a tough road game. The talented wideout caught 4 passes for 116 yards and 1 touchdown while averaging 29 yards per reception. Furthermore, he also carried the rock 3 times for 22 yards and 1 more touchdown.

As a result, he helped his team humiliate the Eagles in their much-anticipated game. The Niners improved to 9-3 with that victory and are now just 1 game behind the Eagles in the NFC No.1 seed race.

Deebo Samuel had the best game of his season on Sunday

The 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel was having a quiet season for his standards. Before Sunday’s game, he only had one 100-plus receiving yards game through 12 weeks of the NFL regular season.

However, against the Eagles, Samuel had a breakout game and caught two touchdown passes, which is more TD catches than all of his games combined before in the 2023 season.

The 27-year-old wide receiver was dealing with injuries and even missed some game time. But, now he seems fully healthy and is having fun again on the field. Next, he would look to help the Niners defeat the Seattle Seahawks, who they are scheduled to face in their week 14 matchup.
