“Deshaun Watson ain’t sweating the NFL Investigation”: TMZ catches the QB playing golf in the Bahamas while the NFL continues its probe into him

The Cleveland Browns made one of the most surprising moves this offseason which many around the league view as a bet that may or may not work out. They traded for Deshaun Watson, the former QB for the Houston Texans who was rendered ineligible to play last season as nearly 22 women filed cases of sexual harassment against him. While the cases still remain, the NFL is also conducting its own probe into his situation by talking to all the victims and trying to determine his punishment.

While the NFL is busy in Cleveland investigating and continuing its probe, Deshaun Watson is living his best life in the Bahamas. The quarterback has gone on a vacation with his new teammates from the Browns, and a video of them playing golf on a stellar tee by the ocean has surfaced. Watson originally posted the video on his social media page, and TMZ circulated the video. Nick Chubb, the Browns RB is also accompanying Watson on his trip.

Deshaun Watson is seen draining a 30-foot-putt while on a hole with Nick Chubb and the Browns squad, the sun is seen setting while Watson is laughing and celebrating with all of his teammates who are hyping him up.

Nick Chubb also put up a story on his social media handle giving a view from his hotel room, however, it is surprising to see Watson unwinding and on vacation during such a crucial week that is likely to determine if he will be able to play this season or not. He met with NFL representatives over the allegations which usually means that the league is close to reaching a conclusion.

There is no official word on how that meet went but the league has been probing this matter for nearly a year and everyone including the Browns organization is getting impatient as we get closer to the pre-season. The team has to deal with Baker Mayfield as well who they are keeping as a plan-B option in case Watson is suspended for an entire season.

Watson has unequivocally denied all the allegations and there have been no criminal charges filed against him. He is moving ahead with the presumption that he will be eligible to play this season and has already begun to bond with his new teammates.
