Is Dylan Raiola a guaranteed first-rounder for the 2024 draft? This viral video certainly suggests so
The 2022 NFL draft recently concluded and a new generation of players have entered the league, this year we did not see as many quarterbacks in the draft class and the ones that we did see were not drafted as high as they usually tend to be. Kenny Pickett was the first quarterback and he went at number 20 in the first round. The next year, however, the situation is different as there is a multitude of talented quarterbacks up for grabs. Today we take a look at one such quarterback.
Ohio State commit, Dylan Raiola is one of the top prospects that the Buckeyes managed to land, he is one of the top prospects at that position and the passing game in OSU appears to be in good hands for the years to come. If you wondered what to expect from the quarterback, this video will give you a clear idea. The quarterback spent his Memorial Day Weekend at the Steve Clarkson ‘The QB Retreat’ in Los Angeles along with other top prospects and some current college football players.
Raiola’s throw blew up on social media:
Raiola went viral on social media for some of the throws that he made at the camp, demonstrating his unique throwing motion that is eerily similar to Patrick Mahomes. The highlight of the practice was his insane arm strength, he ended up throwing the ball for a total of 72 yards with relative ease. In the event, the 2023 NFL prospect also spent some time with OSU’s quarterback C.J. Stroud and wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Raiola is a five-star prospect and the number 8 player in the recruiting class of 2024. The resident from Chandler, Arizona committed to OSY in early May following his visit in April after he was expected to sign with USC. The quarterback is the only one who has committed to the Buckeyes in 2024 but that will change very soon.
