Peyton Manning is not new to winning individual trophies. The legendary QB has won a fair share of massive trophies throughout his illustrious career. This was possible due to his insane skill and devotion to the game.
After his retirement, Peyton did the same in broadcasting and soon became one of the best in that field. He is too good and was even commemorated for his achievements. The former NFL Super Bowl-winning QB recently won the Sports Emmy award for the outstanding personality/event analyst category.
Peyton was lauded by many on social media. However, his co-host and little brother, Eli Manning, didn’t share the praise and congratulated him in his own way. Eli roasted his brother viciously for winning the outstanding personality award over him, who also happens to be the co-host of the same show.
“I did not know you could win an Emmy for just telling fans when coaches should call timeout,” Eli Manning said on Twitter. There were many others nominated in the same category. However, the former New York Giants‘ QB wasn’t even nominated for the award.
Peyton Manning and Eli Manning are the co-hosts of the show ‘The ManningCast’ and have been highly competitive throughout their lives. Still, there won’t be any bad blood between them after the Emmy award for Peyton.

ManningCast is turning out to be one of the most popular broadcasting shows of the NFL due to two reasons, Peyton and Eli Manning. Both the brothers share great chemistry and balance each other out really well.
However, another reason for the success of their show can be the influential and well-known guests that they invite to their show. From Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg to veteran QB Aaron Rodgers, everyone has been part of the ManningCast.
The brothers have implied a simple philosophy regarding the working of the show and believe it should replicate them watching a game at home, sitting on their couch. Even Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been part of their show. It is expected that the guest list will be quite illustrious for their second season as well, with rumors of Tom Brady joining in for an episode post his retirement from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
