The NFL is one of the biggest sporting leagues on the planet. Every year, innumerable fans come in large numbers and tonnes are glued to their idiot boxes to carefully watch every little detail about every game.

The league indeed is a life changer. Every year at the draft, the lives of several families are changed forever when their relative is roped in by one of the franchises. However, from time to time, the league is also affected by some serious allegations against some of the top names involved.

Who can forget the ongoing Brian Flores controversy, the claims against Deshaun Watson, and the whole fiasco that unfolded with the Washington Commanders. To add to the list, former Raiders president Dan Ventrelle has made some shocking allegations against the team owner Mark Davis.

As reported by ProFootballTalk, Ventrelle has stated that he was fired by Davis for letting the NFL know about the  “multiple written complaints regarding a hostile work environment.” Dan claimed that his only purpose behind letting the league know about the complaints was to protect the team and the female employees.

Reacting to this, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy issued a statement that read, “We recently became aware of these allegations and take them very seriously. We will promptly look into the matter.” It will be interesting to see what happens next in the case.
