Former Bucs’ defensive tackle Gerald McCoy took to social media to slam renowned TV personality Skip Bayless for his comments on Shannon Sharpe on their show, Undisputed. Bayless and Sharpe engaged in a heated feud on the show when the former got personal with the latter over his views on Tom Brady.

Sharpe was very unhappy with the way Brady has been playing this season and rightly called it out after the Bucs’ humiliating 7-35 loss to the 49ers where Brady lost to debutant Brock Purdy. Bayless tried to defend Brady and, in the heat of the moment, got personal with Sharpe.

Gerald McCoy expressed his disappointment on social media with Skip’s behavior and said that he crossed a line and that such things shouldn’t be entertained on live TV. He said that he never ever met Brady and that in an attempt to defend him, taking a shot at your partner is not cool.

“Naw man Skip crossed a line this a.m. you didn’t take shots at your partner live on tv over somebody you don’t even know. You’ve never even met the man and you take a shot at your partner. That’s bogus as heck!!” McCoy tweeted.

Things are not looking ideal for Tom Brady

Tom Brady has underperformed massively this season and has carried the Bucs to a 6-7 record for the season. Despite Brady’s poor performances, the Bucs sit at the top of the NFC South division thanks to its lopsidedness. While the road to the playoffs looks pretty clear for the team, their performance is a matter of concern.

The defense has won games for them, but the offense led by Brady looks very terrible. They are finding it difficult to move the ball ahead and the passing hasn’t been on par either. This week’s game against the Bengals won’t be easy for the Bucs either, but once it’s over, they can expect a couple of easy outings against the Cardinals and the Panthers.
