“Happy wife, happy life” Stephen A Smith picks a side in the ongoing spat between Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen
Stephen A Smith is a widely known NFL analyst who is known for his open remarks and this time it was no different. On ESPN’s first take Smith gave his take on the recent controversy of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen and their rumoured split.
Stephen A Smith believes that it’s the best thing that could have happened and urged Tom Brady to move on. Smith believes in the saying “happy wife, happy life” and advised Brady to follow the same thing.
According to Stephen A Smith, Tom Brady has practically achieved everything there is to achieve in football. He has won the Super Bowl with two different teams, The Bucs and the Patriots. Brady also has seven Super Bowl Rings. So, Stephen A Smith can’t understand what’s driving Tom to play one more season by putting his relationship on the line.
Smith also pointed out that Gisele is not some ordinary woman, she is a supermodel who used to earn more than Brady but gave it all up for the family and now it’s the Bucs QB’s turn to give something back.
“The reality is that, this ain’t some woman that you just happen to be in love with and you married her, but you wanna play your football.” Stephen A Smith said on the First Take on ESPN.
“Oh no, no, no! She is a supermodel that was making more money than you. She gave up some of that, to be at home, to be a supermom. And, according to her, one promise, after another, after another.”
“I wish them nothing but the greatest happiness”: Stephen A Smith on Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s marriage is still under rough waters. The couple isn’t living together currently and Gisele also didn’t appear for the Buc’s first game of the season. But the fans gained some hope when Gisele tweeted support for Tom Brady before his first game.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen started having relationship problems when Brady decided to unretire himself to play in the NFL again. Recently, Gisele opened up in the October issue of Ella magazine stating. “This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present.”
“I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
Many fans have assumed that this will be Tom Brady’s last dance in the NFL and he has already won the first game against the Cowboys.
