Dak Prescott is a quality QB who is leading a team that is out of form for quite some seasons but does that justify rating him above Super Bowl winner Matthew Stafford from the Rams and Super Bowl finalist Joe Burrow from the Bengals? Skip Bayless knows the reason why.

Skip Bayless argued on his show ‘Undisputed’ that Dak Prescott is ‘forever underrated’ and he should be given more praise instead of the criticism that the QB receives.

“I can’t defend Dak down the stretch, but I can defend him being forever underrated because we’re so critical of the QB for America’s Team.” Skip Bayless said on the Undisputed.

According to Bayless, most NFL analysts including him are highly critical of QBs in the NFL. Dak Prescott was the rookie of the year in his first season. There’s also the argument of how can Prescott be underrated when he’s rated ahead of Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford.

Prescott is also touted to be this year’s MVP in the NFL as he’s the only QB on the Cowboys roster, but in hindsight, the Cowboys can’t afford an injury to their star QB.

Dak Prescott has a great shot-calling ability and the ability to read the defences that help him pick out efficient passes. The Cowboys QB is the literal centerpiece of the Cowboy’s offence and the whole attack is built around him.

According to Skip Bayless, the Cowboys have a top 10 QB who will get better each year as the squad improves around him. The Cowboys are also looking deadly this season and will hope to get far in the Super Bowl race. They face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first game of the season.
