Tom Brady has apparently become the master of unretirement. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback made headway this offseason after making a complete turnaround from his decision to retire from the game.
Brady had called time on his career in February as he wanted to spend more time with his family but eventually did not go through with it. About 40 days later he rescinded his decision and is all set to play in his 23rd season in the NFL.
Tom Brady gave his valuable advice to make Cameron Diaz come out of her retirement from movies
This act from the quarterback prompted leading Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz to change her decision as she announced her return to the world of glamour and glitter for her upcoming film with Jamie Foxx. The action comedy film titled “Back In Action” will mark Diaz’s return to the silver screen after an 8-year hiatus.
Foxx revealed how he convinced Cameron Diaz to come back to making films, and it included a phone call with Tom Brady who shared his input on how to “successfully unretire”. Jamie Foxx recorded their conference call and shared the audio on his official Twitter account.
The post was captioned, “Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT,” referring to Tom Brady.
“I’m so anxious right now,” Diaz said in the clip. “I’m, like, pacing the room. I feel excited, but I don’t know how to do this, ya know?”
“Listen, I got somebody on the other line that can help you with this. Can I click him in?” Foxx then asked. “Cameron, it’s the GOAT,” he said, as Tom said hello.
“Oh, my God, is this Tom Brady?” Diaz giggled.
Tom explained that he was “talking to Jamie and he said you need a few tips on how to unretire. I’m relatively successful at unretiring.” Cameron said his guidance would be “exactly what I needed…” and the recorded clip finished with Foxx not revealing what the actual advice was from the quarterback.
