Joe Burrow is currently one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is an absolute beast on the football field and has already achieved legendary status in Cincinnati. Apparently, Burrow’s talent goes far beyond the football field as the Bengals QB recently pulled off to the MLB franchise Cincinnati Reds’ batting practice and hit some homers.
The talented quarterback recently visited the Great American Ballpark with a few of his Bengals teammates as surprise guests on Wednesday. They took part in the Reds’ batting practice and Joe Burrow decided to take a few swings and ended up crushing some home runs. Burrow apparently hit four home runs during his hitting streak and impressed a lot of people. Check out the video below!
Joe Burrow, an impressive athlete used to play baseball until high school. The Pro Bowl QB played the shortstop position and also used to be a pitcher. However, Burrow stopped playing baseball when he got to high school since he wanted to focus on football and basketball. He eventually got multiple D1 offers to play football and he committed to Ohio State before transferring to LSU.
At LSU, Burrow had one of the best seasons by a college football quarterback which led to him getting drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals as the 1st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He immediately became a starter in the league and has had a remarkable start to his NFL career.

The Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow sent some baseballs to the moon as he pulled off to the Cincinnati Reds‘ batting practice and hit four massive home runs on Wednesday. His massive hits went viral on social media and the Bengals fans were ecstatic about the talent showcased by their Pro Bowl signal-caller. Check out some of the reactions below!
On the business side of things, Burrow, who led the Bengals to the Super Bowl back in 2022 is currently negotiating his contract extension with the Cincinnati-based franchise.
The Bengals have picked up the 5th year option of their former 1st overall selection, which will give them some time to get a deal done with their QB. Burrow’s new contract is expected to make the quarterback one of the highest-paid NFL players of all time.
In the meantime, Burrow will be focused on leading his franchise to another deep postseason run. Last season, Burrow and the Bengals faced defeat in the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This season he will look to lead his team to one more Super Bowl appearance.
