Kyler Murray’s future at the Arizona Cardinals is up in the air at this moment
Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim was determined to make his and his franchise’s stance clear when it came to keeping hold of their primary quarterback beyond his original contract. While making an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Keim showered praise on the 24-year old.
Steve Keim said, “I just think it’s a timing thing,” Keim said, via the team’s website. “Anyone who has done it before has done it anywhere from July to September. No different for us.”
“We know he is under contract for another year and also the fifth-year option (in 2023). He is our future, we feel that strongly. I feel like we’ll be able to get something done this summer.”
Now it remains to be seen whether the Cardinals are actually able to get things done during the offseason, of the stalemate situation continues between Kyler Murray and the franchise.
