It looks like Lamar Jackson isn’t quite fond of flower celebrations, as he gave the most hilarious reaction when Zay Flowers‘ touchdown in the end zone received a flower celebration from his teammates. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback’s reaction came as surprising because it’s not common in the NFL to see one’s own teammate mocking a celebration.

Although the Ravens won the game against the Los Angeles Chargers, wide receiver Flowers couldn’t save himself from friendly jesting. Jackson gave a three-word comment, saying, “It was a**,” seeing the celebration for Flowers’ 3-yard touchdown.

But that wasn’t it! The Ravens’ quarterback also imitated the unique “wedding celebration” celebration and mocked the whole thing in front of the media. Jackson’s mocking doesn’t mean the wideout felt short for his team in any matter against the Justin Herbert-led Chargers.

During the postgame press conference, when Jackson was asked about the celebration, he said:

The first one was horrible. I told him. I didn’t know what was going on. I was just standing there like, ‘alright.’ … When I saw what happened, I was like, ‘that was a–.’ … That was the worst celebration I’ve ever seen.

He logged catching five targets thrown by the quarterback. Also, his rushing game worked as an integral part of the Ravens’ win against the Chargers.

Moving forward, Flowers also recorded another touchdown in the final two minutes of the game, putting the Ravens in the 20-10 lead, resulting in a great victory. It’s for sure that Jackson enjoyed the second celebration way more than the first.

All over social media, Zay Flowers’ unique celebration received great love and appreciation from fans. And despite Jackson’s comment, fans are not shaming him or targeting him for mocking his own wideout.

Instead, they are defending and understanding the point of reference that the quarterback was talking about. After the touchdown celebration, when the camera turned towards Jackson, he rolled his eyes with a not-so-impressed look.
