The Los Angeles Chargers are having one of their worst seasons this year. After 11 games, the team is on a 4-7 record. They are presently standing at the last in the AFC West Division. The latest defeat came against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night when the team lost 20-10. It was another poor offensive display from the Chargers end. They grabbed the early lead but failed to carry the momentum with time.

Analyst LeSean McCoy believes that Justin Herbert needs to be blamed for the abysmal performance of the Chargers this season. In one of the episodes of the show Speak, the former Eagles man and the present-day analyst said that the quarterback did not promise any win to the team. The only good thing he has is his hair.

Here is what the analyst said:

All this guy gives me is good hair right away. He doesn't give me no wins, he doesn't give me no comebacks. Look at that hair though... like a model. He does all that and gets to the game and then lose.

Despite having good individual stats, the QB failed to produce enough clutch moments for his team. And ‘Shady’ was not completely wrong. He pointed out his inability to provide when the team needs him the most.

In the game against the Ravens, the Chargers’ QB had one touchdown and one interception for 217 yards. He also completed 29 of his 44 passes. Although, it was not an individually bad performance it was not enough to seal things in favour of his team.

LeSean McCoy questioned Justin Herbert’s desperation

Shady McCoy said that Justin Herbert was not desperate enough to make it for the Chargers. Comparing him with the Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts, the analyst said that Herbert does not have the hunger to win games.

Here is what McCoy had to say about Herbert on the same:

Let's keep it real here, a guy like Jalen Hurts and he's a really good quarterback. Right? But what makes him special? I don't care how bad I'm playing, I'm gonna win this game. The game could be up or down, wherever it may be. We put the ball in our best players, that's why we pay you all the money, and then when you give us no results, you give me good hair movements, and that's it, we need to see more results.

Justin Herbert registered 20 touchdowns against six interceptions. Moreover, the Los Angeles Chargers’ QB has covered nearly 3,000 yrds of passing. However, he failed to ensure a win against a top-tier NFL squad.
