“It’s all respect,” Micah Parsons clarifies his stance on Jalen Hurts following his controversial criticism of the QB

Micah Parsons showed respect to Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles defense.

Micah Parsons, the pass rusher for the Dallas Cowboys, received flak a couple of weeks ago over his comments on the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. On a podcast, the defensive star dedicated the success of the Eagles’ to the system they ran and the overall build of the team. Many fans believed that Parsons was taking shots at quarterback Jalen Hurts by discrediting his contributions.

The Dallas Cowboys faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday. They beat their division rivals 40-34, and following the game, Micah Parsons took the time to set the record straight on his previous comments. In a snippet released by the NFL, the defensive player is seen shaking the hands of the Eagles players and explaining himself.

Micah Parsons had previously elaborated on the comments he made on the podcast. However, he took the time to do it in person with the Eagles’ players. In Saturday’s game, Jalen Hurts was not in action, however, Parsons spoke to offensive tackle Jordan Mailata and tight end Dallas Goedert.

Micah Parsons gave props to the Philadelphia Eagles:

Jalen Hurts and Micah Parsons
Micah Parsons had credited the success of the Eagles to the system the team ran.

Here’s what Parsons had to say, “I credit y’all, bro, I know what y’all do. Going against you (Jordan Mailata), Lane, and then that defense, bro, I already know what it is. You know football players know. It’s all respect. We’ll see you soon.”

The Eagles squashed their beef with Parsons. It was a smart call on his part to talk it out with Mailata, who had earlier clapped back at him over his comments. Jordan had stated, “I’m going to worry about the Chicago Bears this week, mate, worry about this game. Micah should worry about his game this week, too. I don’t know who the f**k they’re playing, pardon my language. Just worry about who you got this week.”

The Cowboys and Eagles have always had a great rivalry. It will be fascinating to witness these teams go against one another in the foreseeable future and in years to come as their rosters are stacked with talent. Props to Micah Parsons for sorting the beef out and clearing things out with the opposition.
