It has been 18 months since the Cincinnati Bengals faced defeat against the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl game. But now, the then-Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and the Bengals pass catcher Tyler Boyd are locked in a feud over that Super Bowl victory. Recently, OBJ claimed that if he didn’t get hurt during the game the Rams would’ve blown out the Bengals. The Bengals wideout Boyd attacked OBJ for his comments which have now led to a back-and-forth between the two on social media.

“People have no idea what I was actually gonna do that day,” Beckham said about the 2022 Super Bowl game. “The game plan was for me. We would’ve beat ‘em 42-17.”

Boyd took offense to the statement and replied “Woulda coulda shoulda” on social media platform X, previously known as Twitter. And now, following Boyd’s rebuttal, OBJ has fired back at the Bengals wideout once again on social media. “But I do have the ring u coulda woulda shoulda had….,” Beckham wrote.

During the Super Bowl game back in 2022, in which the Rams won 23-20, OBJ suffered an ACL injury and was taken out of the game. Nonetheless, he ended up getting a ring and now he got the last laugh on Instagram over Tyler Boyd and the Bengals.

As a result of the ACL injury, Beckham Jr missed the entire 2022 NFL season. He ended up signing a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens worth up to $18 million in the 2023 off-season. He will now look to add one more ring to his resume while catching passes from Lamar Jackson in Baltimore.

The Ravens added one of the best free agents in the league as they signed Odell Beckham Jr. in the off-season to a one-year deal. Recently OBJ hinted that he might be playing in his last NFL season in 2023.

However, he didn’t say 2023 would definitely be the last season. OBJ said that he considered retiring from football after winning the Super Bowl with the Rams but ended up signing with the Ravens.

And now, he will know how this year goes with the Ravens before making his next career move. OBJ will be a free agent in 2024 and could re-sign with the Baltimore-based franchise, sign a new deal with another team, or even retire from the sport. But for now, he will be focused on helping Lamar Jackson and the Ravens to win a Super Bowl in the upcoming season.
