Christian McCaffrey had an eventful second half of the season. The running back was traded to the San Francisco 49ers and became part of an explosive offense.

The 26-year-old moved from the Carolina Panthers and played every single game with great effort. However, their season was cut short after they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC championship.

After the season ended, McCaffrey had a great start to the offseason by proposing to her longtime girlfriend Olivia Culpo. Olivia is a former Miss Universe. The couple were introduced to each other in 2019. Since then, they have never been apart.

However, for Culpo, the engagement surprise came a bit late. Recently, the former model took to TikTok to share how she dropped hints for the 49ers RB to propose to her by suggesting different rings. Still, McCaffrey didn’t take any hints.

“I tried to hint at what (ring) I wanted and he was just so uninterested,” Olivia Culpo stated. “He was doing it on purpose. I was getting so annoyed. Honestly, my feelings were getting hurt, but he just wanted it to be a surprise, so it was absolutely amazing.”

Christian McCaffrey apparently understood all the hints dropped by her fiancee. However, he chose to ignore them, as he wanted the engagement to be a complete surprise.

The San Francisco 49ers were one of the best teams in the NFC last season if not the best. Their squad became even more explosive after the arrival of Christian McCaffrey.

The 26-year-old RB was a revelation for the San Francisco based team and started all the 17 games last season. McCaffrey was traded mid season and his incredible performance helped him earn a 2nd spot in the comeback player of the year list.

The 49ers RB made the second Pro Bowl of his career after rushing for 1,139 yards and scored a total of 13 touchdowns. McCaffrey will be playing his first complete season for his new team and a lot will be expected from him.

With his personal life currently doing great wonders, the RB will be looking to replicate the same fortunes in the NFL as well. With just 26-years of age, McCaffrey and young QB Brock Purdy can work wonders in the city of San Francisco.
