San Francisco 49ers’ sensation Brock Purdy is not only defying the odds, but he is also shattering the mold of what a rookie quarterback can do with his seven straight victories without a loss. After taking over from Jimmy Garoppolo in Week 13, Purdy is yet to lose a match and has led the 49ers to the NFC Championship game.

The first-ranked 49ers’ defense will take on the first-ranked Eagles’ offense led by MVP finalist Jalen Hurts. The NFC Championship game is going to be an interesting thriller game with both the best teams in the game battling it out on the field to advance to the Super Bowl.

Brock Purdy will be tested by Philadelphia’s defense to see whether his undefeated streak is pure luck or if Mr. Irrelevant is cut from an entirely different cloth. Jalen Hurts and the offense will be under a lot of pressure by Nick Bosa, who is contested to be the Defensive Player of the Year, -led defense.

Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless, in a recent episode of the show, said the 49ers have a slight advantage all across the board against the Eagles to win the game but they lack a bit in the quarterback department which made him choose the Philadelphia Eagles are the NFC Champions. “I say the Eagles prevail 19-16,” Skip said. Skip further said that while he has never seen someone like Brock Purdy in his entire career but he does have a strong support system that has backed him up a lot of times.

“I’ve been watching this game, studying this game for too long. Brock Purdy is gonna hit the wall because everybody does. Because he is human and only so good. I love his competitive nature, he is a battler. He will fight you to the death but in the end he doesn’t have the biggest arm,” Skip added.

Brock Purdy did look a bit green against the Cowboys’ defense in the divisional playoffs. Purdy has been involved in some big games during his college career but he has never experienced it at the biggest level with this fandom and this stadium, which will be roaring with fans making it impossible for him to communicate with his team properly.

The 49ers’ passing game will be totally dependent on Purdy not losing his cool under pressure. The Eagles do have a seasoned quarterback in Jalen Hurts who was on an MVP camping but lost due to his injury. So, the Eagles do have an upper hand in their quarterback, which might be the factor for their advancing to the Super Bowl.

All in all, it never matters what any analyst has to say because on the game day if Brock Purdy explodes as he has for the last few weeks, then Philadelphia can kiss the Lombardi Trophy goodbye because he will win the game for the 49ers. Let’s see whether Purdy holds up under the pressure or sinks like the Titanic!
