Fresh off making a fool out of the entire world—ditching smoking—the trailer of his new movie—-The Underdogs—– Snoop Dogg was in seventh heaven until the Pittsburgh Steelers lost their sixth game of 2023. The famous rapper lashed out at the disappointing Thursday night result.
Pittsburgh was already weakened by the loss of quarterback Kenny Pickett, who picked up an ankle injury last week against the Arizona Cardinals. Former Bears and Bills QB Mitch Trubisky took over the role from Pickett.

They were up against the struggling New England Patriots (2-10). Surprisingly, the visitors came out of the block, all guns blazing. QB Bailey Zappe threw three touchdown passes in the first half, giving the Pats a 21-10 lead.
Mike Tomlin‘s Steelers were up against it. They may have won seven games this season, but most of their wins have come by eight points or less. It cost Matt Canada his job. But has the atmosphere in Pittsburgh changed? No, four of their six losses came in the last five games.
Similar to the Patriots (28th), the Steelers offense is very dull (26th). Tomlin’s team only averages around 294.4 yards, which is lower than the league average of 335. On Thursday night, they were limited to just 264 yards (182 passing yards and 82 rushing yards). Snoop Dogg, who grew up watching Black and Gold in the 1970s, has lost patience with the current squad.
We need to hire a new fuc*** elite offensive coordinator for the Steelers! We fuc*** suc*. It's terrible watching the Steelers play. Don't like this week-to-week, man! Nig*** making me old.The 52-year-old said after the game ended in favor of the Patriots (21-18)
Is Snoop Dogg a Pittsburgh Steelers fan?
Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., aka Snoop Dogg, was born in California and loved football from a young age. He developed a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers while watching the great defenses of the mid-70s. In a special guest appearance on the Monday Night Manning Cast with Peyton Manning and Eli Manning in January last year, Snoop revealed his love for the Steelers.

“In the 70s, watching the Steelers and the Raiders and the Cowboys and the teams from the 70s, I fell in love with their great defense. The way they moved the ball, just like the way they played football, was fun to watch as a kid,” he said.
However, it grew even more after meeting with the players.
Snoop said:
I fell more in love with them because I got a chance to meet the players, coach Bill Cowher and Ben Roethlisberger, Jerome Bettis, and the rest of the guys, and you know, I became a part of Steeler Nation.
There have been a lot of changes since then. Even though Tomlin’s team has a .538 record in 2023, that doesn’t guarantee them a playoff spot. The Steelers are hovering just outside of the wildcards and will face the Indianapolis Colts next week.
