The NFL Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles was filled with controversies and calls that were highly disputed by many. Still, the Chiefs were able to win against the formidable Eagles in an exhilarating nail-biting affair.

This year’s edition of the Super Bowl has the potential to go down as one of the most controversial Super Bowl games ever, due to various reasons. The Super Bowl final was held in Glendale, Arizona, where there were many issues on the field as the players were slipping a lot. Even the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes re-injured his leg due to a slip.

And now on account of that, an ex-NFL groundskeeper, George Toma, has come out with a new revelation suggesting that the field was overwatered leading up to the days of the game. Toma claims that the field was watered, but then it was immediately covered. However, his suggestion was that the field should have been left to dry in the open.

“So, what he does,” Toma said, referring to Ed Mangan, the NFL field director who was in charge, “he waters the hell out of it and puts it right into the stadium and that’s it. Never sees sunlight again. He can’t do that.”

The NFL also came out with a statement after the Super Bowl final saying that the field was checked and was under regulation. However, this new revelation by Tom has led to outrage on social media.
