The New York Giants made a big move in a bid to strengthen their roster as they acquired tight end Darren Waller in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders will be getting the No. 100 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft in exchange.

The New York Giants recently offered a brand new four year contract to quarterback Daniel Jones and it seems they are currently focused on giving him a target in the offense along with presenting Saquon Barkley with the franchise tag.

Darren Waller signed a three year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders in September last year worth $51 million which means the Giants will have him in their team for four years.

One thing definitely needs to be mentioned is that New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen is doing a brilliant job to revamp their squad. The Giants had made it clear they want to build a team around Daniel Jones and they are doing exactly that giving him se quality receivers.

Giants fans on Twitter were thrilled to bits to see them getting hold of Darren Waller who has been prolific in recent times recording 1000+ yard seasons in 2019 and 2020. However there are some people who aren’t very happy with Waller leaving the Raiders.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs took to Twitter to express his disappointment over Darren Waller leaving for the New York Giants. He wrote a very short tweet to express his feelings. “Sh*ts sad fr”, said Jacobs.

You can’t blame Jacobs for feeling this way as he has had to lose two premiere players from the team in quarterback Derek Carr and now Waller. Jacobs had a great season last year recording 1,640 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
