Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got a much-needed victory over the Los Angeles Rams in their matchup this Sunday. For the first time in his career, the GOAT had lost 3 games back to back and had also finalized his divorce from Supermodel Gisele Bündchen. The Bucs had a bye week, one that they needed to regroup and restrategize.

It was clear that Tom Brady was not going to let Tampa lose 4 straight games in a row. He came out with a fire on Sunday that we have not seen much of this season. The fierce competitor within him is no longer asleep. As expected, his game-winning drive was one to remember as with no timeouts left, Brady carried the offense and scored a touchdown.

On the latest iteration of the Let’s Go! podcast, Tom Brady opened up about the pre-game speech that he gave his teammates before they got onto the field on Sunday. Tom admitted that he did not hold back and emphasized the need for the team to keep the errors to a minimum in order to finally start winning games.

Here’s what the veteran quarterback had to say, “I think too much of good, bad, good, bad, leaves you average, and no one’s trying to be average. If you want to be a great team, you’ve got to be way better than average. Correcting our mistakes, and improving our effort which probably is the most embarrassing part of our team is our effort level on game day. And that’s something we better fix.”

Tom Brady’s game against the Los Angeles Rams was historic for many reasons, he achieved the milestone of having thrown for 100,000 total yards in his career. He is the only quarterback to have achieved this feat. The final drive was another record in itself as it gave him the edge over Peyton Manning in the number of game-winning drives thrown by a quarterback.

Tampa Bay played better but not by a big stretch. The defense showed some glimpses of playing like the team that won the Super Bowl, however, the offense did struggle. The Bucs somehow inched past the Rams but the team’s strategy seems to be to take one game at a time.

Tom Brady and the Bucs will now be hoping to continue this winning streak as they face off against the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday, November the 13th.
