Tom Brady

45-year-old Tom Brady proved to the world once again why he’s regarded as the greatest quarterback in football history. He led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a memorable 17-16 win over the New Orleans Saints which involved an astonishing comeback in the fourth quarter from 3-16 down. With this win, the Bucs are now 6-6 for the season and have finally found momentum going into the business end of the league.

With the last 5 minutes remaining on the clock, the Bucs trailed 3-16, and it looked like they were going to get humiliated in the race for NFC South supremacy. Their offense looked terrible, and they struggled with moving the ball around. In came the man himself, Tom Brady, who led the team aggressively and used all his years of experience to score two game-winning drives. Brady hit running back Rachaad White for a 6-yard touchdown with three seconds left and the extra point gave the Bucs a thumping 17-16 win.

Brady was 0-37 in the regular season and 1-43 in the playoffs when trailing by 13 or more points in the fourth quarter but all changed after his heroics this Monday night. The defense worked well for the Bucs throughout the match, but it was very interesting to see the offense respond during the dying minutes.
