Legendary quarterback Tom Brady has recently spoken about the quality of quarterbacks in the league currently. Brady has struggled a lot this year and hasn’t been able to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense up to its potential. He has found it difficult to move the ball ahead and courtesy of his poor performance; the Bucs are currently 6-7 for the season.

On the recent episode of the Let’s Go! Podcast, Brady admitted that on the basis of their current form, young quarterbacks like Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson are a level above him. He said that when he plays players like Mahomes and Jackson, he could do nothing but introspect that he can’t do anything that they do. Their level blows his mind and admitted that he doesn’t see the game the way they see it.

“Then I see other players, let’s say like Patrick Mahomes or today’s Lamar Jackson. I go, ‘f***, I can’t do any of that.’ How did they do that? It blows me away because however they’re playing, I don’t see the game the way they see it,” Brady said.

Can Tom Brady align the Bucs’ campaign back on track?

Tom Brady hasn’t been up to his high level this season and has lost to quarterbacks of way lower stature than him. Last week, he lost to Brock Purdy, who became the first quarterback in NFL history to beat Brady on his debut. Due to Brady’s performance, the Bucs are currently 6-7 for the season and are still at the top of the NFC South division.

They still have one difficult game coming up this week against the Bengals after which they will face the Cardinals on Christmas. They will finish the regular season, locking horns with the Panthers and the Falcons. As things stand, because of the lopsided NFC South division, the Bucs may sneak into the playoffs but in the knockouts, they will be left vulnerable against the big teams.
