Travis Kelce had a great season last year and won the Super Bowl for the second time in his career. The pro bowler has been pretty vocal about the game, and that has helped him improve his game.

Kelce also has a podcast with his older brother, Jason Kelce, where they talk about all things football. In a recent episode, they spoke about the NFL rule changes, and it got pretty serious.

The Kansas City Chiefs TE was enraged with the new ‘fair catch’ rule and went on a serious rant to publicly oppose it. The new rule has been under massive scrutiny, and even the legendary TE Rob Gronkowski called the league out for implementing such a rule.

Kelce believes the new rule is bull***t, makes the game boring, and takes away from its excitement and thrill. The new rule suggests that the play can be started at the 25-yard line after the kickoff. This changes the start of the game completely..

“I think this is absolutely stupid, I don’t think this is making the game safe; I think it’s making it more boring and taking a lot of excitement out of the game’s opening play. This is whack,” Travis Kelce stated on the New Heights Podcast.

However, this isn’t the only rule that Travis Kelce has openly revolted against. The Kelce brothers are also against the new 3rd QB emergency rule, which can have a pretty big impact.

The NFL has gone on a big spree of making massive changes to the rule book since the season ended. One such rule is the new 3rd QB emergency rule, where a team is allowed to call up the 3rd QB if both their QBs are injured.

Although, the rule may be helpful for some people, Travis Kelce has called out the league for implementing it and has called it ‘absolutely stupid’ and ‘bulls***’. “Such b, they’re basically saying if the 49ers had a 3rd quarterback, they would’ve gone to the Super Bowl,” Kelce stated on the New Heights podcast.

Kelce believes that with such liberty, the game will become easier and will take away from all the thrills that football is actually known for. Regardless, if the new rule had been implemented last season, the San Francisco 49ers would have gladly made it to the Super Bowl by beating the Eagles.
