The league is expected to act as an important platform for many who are eying to make it big at the highest level. Recently, the New Orleans Breakers took on the Tampa Bay Bandits and it turned out to be a pretty one-sided affair.

Antonio Reed’s shameful action against the Breakers draws netizens’ ire

The Breakers gave the Bandits absolutely no opportunity whatsoever to recover and thrashed them by a whopping margin. Right from the word go, the Breakers were on top and they kept the momentum going till the final seconds. The contest ended 34-3 in the Breakers’ favor.

However, what ended up catching everyone’s attention was a rather shameful incident that transpired during the game. Antonio Reed, who features as a defensive back for the Bandits pushed one of his opponents down and instead of moving on with the game, he decided to sit on that particular player’s head.

It is extremely tough for even the Bandits to justify Reed’s action as what he did was truly against the spirit of the game. What makes it even worse for Reed is the fact that the Bandits were subjected to a humiliating defeat. While the incident ended up drawing a lot of attention to the league, it isn’t something that will help boost the popularity of the league.
