The Super Bowl win is still fresh in the memory of Patrick Mahomes, who just can’t stop celebrating. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback swung by to watch Luk Combs perform at the Arrowhead and was seen chugging down a can of beer with the country singer.
Mahomes’ amazing performance last season helped the Chiefs add their third Lombardi Trophy. The trophy celebration was attended by Chiefs Matriarch Norma Hunt, who recently passed away.
The 27-year-old has been enjoying life since then, traveling throughout the country with his family and friends. He participated in the annual Big Slick celebrity softball game organized at Park Homer and hit it out of the park.
However, Mahomes and his fellow Chiefs players visited the White House, where they met President Joe Biden. Meanwhile, tight end Travis Kelce was about to speak on the podium, but Mahomes almost dragged him away, which made the audience chuckle.
On Sunday, he attended the famous country singer Luke Combs’ concert. Mahomes moved to the tune of ‘Going, Going, Gone.’ He even got up on stage during Combs’ rendition of “Brand New Man,” sang some words, and even shotgunned a beer can with the singer. The whole crowd went berserk, seeing one of the Chiefs’ favorites on stage, and even screamed at the top of their lungs.
Mahomes’s wife, Brittany, and her friend Paige Buechele wife of Shane Buechele later posted some photos of the concert on their Instagram.
Fans of the quarterback may remember that a while back, comedian Andrew Santino revealed how Mahomes finished with 23 Coors Lights during his show. The two-time MVP knows how to bring his Texan flair to a party.

NFL Twitter not too happy with Patrick Mahomes’ shotgunning a beer in front of live audience
Not everyone is thrilled with Mahomes’ shotgunning a beer can in front of a live audience. Most people argued that it will have an adverse effect on young people and especially kids who idolize him.
However, some did come in support of their favorite QB.
Everyone has an opinion on social media, and so does Mahomes, as he shared a funny take on “Sunday Night Football,” which revealed it was the five-time Pro Bowl’s seventh season in the NFL.
Moreover, earlier today, he attended a Major League Baseball match between the Kansas City Royals and the Cincinnati Reds. Mahomes, together with Kelce, watched the game and even pitched some pitches.
Meanwhile, there was a rumor that former free agent DeAndre Hopkins could join the Chiefs. The prospect sounded juicy to a lot of NFL fanatics, but eventually, nothing materialized.
As the defending champions, the Kansas-based franchise will be looking to replicate their feat again in the 2023 season. To achieve that, Mahomes has to be on top of his game.
